Social Media Manager
About the Role
We're looking for a creative, digitally-savvy Social Media Manager to lead our online presence and help tell the Eirlys story across all platforms. You'll be the voice of our brand, connecting with our community, creating compelling content, and driving engagement that converts.
This is a hands-on role perfect for someone who understands the craft and luxury space, has an eye for beautiful content, and knows how to turn social media into a powerful growth engine.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow our presence across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, and emerging platforms
- Create engaging content including photography, video, stories, reels, and TikTok videos that showcase our products and craft
- Host and manage TikTok Lives to connect with customers in real-time and drive sales
- Develop and execute social media campaigns aligned with product launches, seasonal moments, and brand initiatives
- Build and nurture relationships with influencers, brand ambassadors, and content creators
- Provide creative input on website design, product photography, and brand storytelling
- Monitor analytics, track performance, and optimize strategy based on insights
- Engage with our community through comments, DMs, and user-generated content
- Stay ahead of social media trends and bring fresh ideas to keep Eirlys relevant and engaging
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience managing social media for a brand (ideally in lifestyle, craft, homeware, or luxury sectors)
- Strong content creation skills—comfortable shooting and editing photos and videos on mobile and desktop
- Experience with TikTok including creating viral-worthy content and hosting live sessions
- Understanding of Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest best practices and algorithm changes
- Confident on camera and comfortable being the face of the brand when needed
- Strategic thinker who can balance creativity with data-driven decision making
- Excellent written communication skills with a natural, authentic brand voice
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple projects independently
- Passion for craftsmanship, sustainability, and supporting local businesses
Nice to Have
- Experience with influencer partnerships and affiliate programs
- Basic knowledge of Shopify or e-commerce platforms
- Graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite)
- Understanding of paid social advertising
- Welsh language skills
