FSC certified American cherry sourced from sustainably managed forests. The live edge preserves the tree's natural outer contour, complete with bark texture and organic variations. Natural variations in grain and tone make each board unique, with warm russet, cinnamon, and occasional deep amber undertones creating rich character. Cherry will develop a deeper, more lustrous patina with use and regular oiling. Due to the natural edge, dimensions and silhouette vary—making each Edgeworth board truly one of a kind.

Finished exclusively with food-safe mineral oil. Free from BPA, phthalates, formaldehyde and harmful chemicals. Safe for direct food contact and suitable for all food preparation.

Your Eirlys board is crafted to last a lifetime with proper care. Wipe clean with a damp cloth after each use and dry immediately. Never soak or place in the dishwasher.

Oil monthly with food-safe mineral oil to maintain the wood's natural lustre and protect against moisture. Allow the oil to penetrate for 20 minutes before wiping away excess. Pay special attention to the live edge, ensuring it remains well-oiled to preserve the natural bark texture. The adjustable feet should be checked periodically to ensure stability. Due to the board's substantial 5 cm thickness, allow adequate drying time between uses. Cherry will naturally develop a deeper, more lustrous patina with age.
